THE WORKSHOP

The main room in the house, the workshop was preserved when the renovation took place in 2001.

Originally, it was a classroom when Le Mas du Naoc was a private school. It later became an artist’s workshop for a twenty year period under the supervision of Magdalena Grandmontagne, a German engraver and painter who took her inspiration from the large Mediterranean garden of Le Mas du Naoc and who welcomed trainees as well.

In 2001, Sandra made it her refuge, a place from which she draws her inspiration. Now, the felting training courses take place in this room which is filled with memories.

Le Mas du Naoc ouvrira bientôt sa boutique en ligne dans laquelle vous trouverez toutes les compositions en feutre que Sandra produit à la main dans son atelier. Toutes les pièces sont uniques et peuvent être vendues sur place ou en ligne.

Felt, a material of its own Felted wool

If you are curious and creative, you may want to discover the ancestral technique of felting. Sandra opens her workshop to you for a two-day course to learn the felting technique through the creation of a 3-D piece.
